The After Party #6, Details

When I look back on series of paintings, with distance, they make a lot more sense than when I am in the throws of creation. I see different waves. I don’t preconceive, exactly, what I am going to work on, I have vague notions of where I want to go. Painting is not my therapy, but it is my coping mechanism. I like it this way, I don’t want to talk about the highs and lows that we all experience, I just want to see what my subconscious has to offer, and that’s my own version of discovery.
